My culinary journey began in my grandparents’ kitchen, where my love for cooking first took root. I then started my career as a kitchen manager and dietary specialist at Eastland Retirement Center in Auburn, followed by managing operations at Chipotle in Urbana. After that, I continued to hone my skills as a supervisor at TK Grille in Effingham. These diverse experiences have profoundly shaped my path and prepared me for my latest venture: Edgy Eats.
In addition to being a chef, I’m also an artist, deeply passionate about creating art in various forms. My artistic talent and love for design stem from my mother, who not only taught me how to draw but also instilled in me a profound passion for art. Her guidance and creativity have been fundamental in shaping both my culinary and artistic endeavors.
My business partner, Rob, is a longtime friend and also co-owner of The Zone: 24 Hour Fitness. Rob and I both graduated from Stew-Stras, and our shared history has strengthened our bond and collaboration in this exciting venture.
My fiancée, Desireé, is an integral part of Edgy Eats, handling the front-end operations and ensuring our clients receive the best service and food. Her dedication and hard work are invaluable to our success. Desireé also brings her talent as our primary baker, infusing our offerings with her delicious creations.
